All is Well with My Soul :)

“I did something bad…I turned my back on God for an hour. Probably the worst decision I made and don’t desire to ever do it again. I stepped out of God’s will making the decision to step into my own selfish thoughts and ways, saying to God ‘well I mean, at least I ain’t out here doing that old thing again…this is better than that.’ Lol little did I know God wanted to teach me a lesson.

I couldn’t listen to my praise and worship songs, I had a phone call come in that didn’t work in my favor at all, and my beautiful princess was being more hard headed than ever that I nearly lost my patience. What I found different about myself, however, was the fact that even though I disobeyed God, I didn’t run away from Him this time.

I began to sing worship songs from my heart, songs that genuinely said how I felt towards Him. I just knew I didn’t ever want to leave God’s side and not for the fact that everything was going wrong, but because I love God so much that I didn’t want to hurt Him ever again.

To top off my weekend, my days were blessed back to back. I had been studying about being mindful of my finances through God’s principles and it’s still mind-blowing how God talks to me and gives me confirmations. God said I was getting blessed by trusting Him to do something miraculous, I prayed about it; the next day in church my Pastor preached this same thing in part of His message, I started praising my way through! Glory to God! Hallelujah! Y’all just don’t understand how God is so good to me!

I left church on a mission to shop for my kiddos for Thanksgiving to wear something nice. Mind you, I had my mind still fixated on shopping with the budget I already had set and planned to use. My sister then picks us up from church to say my grandma wanted me to pick up some cash to shop for them. Not only that! I told her my budget was $60 and she gave me $100 to spend instead. Ok yall I am shouting all over again! YA HEA MEHHH!! GOD IS GOOOOOOOODDDD!!!

From this testimony take away these things:

• Work diligently and genuinely to be obedient to God.
• Trust God to do ALL miraculous things in YOUR LIFE
• Pray and praise your way through!
• Give thanks unto God even when things aren’t going your way.
• Most importantly, love God through the companionship you have with Him. He’s the BEST FRIEND you could EVER HAVE!
