Prayer Still Works

“The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”

Exodus 14:14 KJV

“Let’s talk about the power of prayer:

So my son just transitioned to taking the school bus and the first day was not pretty at all. I was instructed to call transportation to assure his bus was on the way to his stop. I’d assumed the driver thought I was one of those annoying parents based on the attitude she pulled up with.

After school that day I waited 15 min. prior to the ETA. My son didn’t show… I called to see if the bus had came or not. Apparently the driver stays in my area and drives around to me to start snapping on me for calling her job because I’m trying to make sure if my child bus arrived or not (My God) I’m talking bout it escalated!

Well my dad apparently grabbed Jr from the stop and didn’t get a chance to communicate because he was also out the door to pick up my brother from school… but it’s the fact this lady followed me from the stop to try to argue with me and proceeds to start arguing with my dad in front of our house.. Man I told that lady ‘Have a blessed day’ and made my way in the house. I get in the house and my dad is going off about how people ain’t fit to do their jobs and how careless people are with other peoples kids. And then he said “she going to get someone killed and she ain’t going to be the one killing…” and y’all know what came after that (LOL). I just told my daddy ‘Imma pray about it’.

Well I requested if the driver can drop Jr closer to our corner on Wednesday due to my limp and the next morning she said she would start dropping Jr off literally in front of the house! Glory to God! I ain’t had to lift a finger to call and complain about anything, I took my complaints to God.

Here are a few things to take away from this post:

  • Maintain your character and your peace
  • Take your problems to God
  • Stand still and allow God to work
  • Ask and you shall receive

Ok that’s all I got! Stay humble and blessed folks!”
