The Importance of Sowing

“But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.”
-2 Corinthians 9:6

So recently I had a friend question ‘Why do you sow in God? What is a concrete reason for me to give to the church?’ I simply responded that ‘God isn’t concrete but He will provide. Keep the faith and watch Him work!’

See, the thing is, God wants us to be faithful stewards. He wants us to give back unto His Kingdom because He wants us to be blessed with more.

What I’ve learned so far:

  • Sow obedience
  • Sow God’s 10% in the church
  • Sow consistency in your faith

It’s more than sowing financially into God’s kingdom. You have to plant great seeds in order reap greater. While I was persistently doing these things while fasting, praying and praising, I asked God to give me more to be responsible with if He saw me ready. I know I always talk about financial blessings, but that’s only because that’s what God is doing for me in this season; including so much more!

I have a new book coming out, I have a clothing line that officially turned into an L.L.C. recently, I’ve had 20 new listeners “dwelling” on my podcast episodes. I have so much to be grateful for. But I couldn’t have done this without the things I’ve named in those bullet points. Sow back into God and keep Him FIRST! By the way, I woke up a few days ago and God increased my credit limit on my Credit card just in time for xmas shopping for my kids.

When God see that you’re showing Him love, He’ll show you love back! Amen! Dwell on this bible verse for today: 2 Corinthians 9: 6 KJV which says ‘But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.’ Amen.

It’s so easy for us to spend our money on things that might not serve us a purpose. Some of us are guilty that we still have things that still have the price tags on them that hasn’t been touched. But Jesus ain’t question the price of your sins nor left yours sins to rot for God to wash His hands clean of you. God definitely ain’t ask YOU to get up on the cross, Jesus said carry your cross and follow! The least you can do is pay 10% praise God, pray, give thanks, and live an obedient lifestyle. God isn’t requiring much from you!

When you stop looking at God as a ‘job’ and start looking at Him as your best friend, your best moments, your all and everything, that’s when God blesses you. So never second guess nor question God, just have faith and be for Him! You only live once; the life God blessed you with, why not honor Him by being a blessing unto God with your life?

Sow great seeds my friends!”

“Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.” ‭‭ Psalm‬ ‭51:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬ I know how hard it can be to turn back to God after we felt like that disobedient child or know that we’ve done wrong. Funny thing is, God loves us so much that He wants us to turn back to Him. Through God’s grace find mercy through Episode 10.
