God Blessed this Mess!

“Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit.”
-Job 10:12 KJV

Today, I would tell you all more about my financial blessings but it would be unfair to not know a little back story.

Three years ago, I’d never think I would be here mentally nor physically. I was battling with legal issues, depressed, couldn’t keep a job, battling homelessness, addictions, even a faith battle with God. Glory to God! Three years I suffered in my sin.

I couldn’t let go of certain things in my life while going through those three years. I still wanted to be a participant in sin, whether it was intentional or unintentionally. Either way God wasn’t happy with me, and I wasn’t too fond that He wasn’t pleased with my ways of life.

I pressed my faith though! I got up and played praise and worship on car rides, made it to church as best as I could, and paid my tithes with the little I had. Through this process of getting my faith back, if I wasn’t letting go of the things and people that were hindering my relationship with God, God was removing them through prayer.

Slowly but surely, I was living Job’s life. Was I displeased with the method? Of course! But the end result made me appreciate it even more. The end result made me even happier than being in the world enjoying sin. As God was purging things from my life, He was refining me at the same time. Glory to God!

While people doubted me, I made things happen through God this time: I have a much more calmer spirit with my children, one that is encouraging and filled with love; and God’s love most importantly. I have peace, my mentality has gotten better and stronger, I love the person I see in the mirror now! I have a beautiful ministry God has blessed me with to reach millions, Dwell on This; we have blogs, podcasts, YouTube channels, and now a book in the works! Glory to God!

Publishers are now calling me left and right, more people are desiring to hear the Word of God through our ministry, Glory to God! And while I heard so many business owners complain about not seeing their first sales within 6 months to nearly 2 years, God blessed me to see my first sale within the first TWO MONTHS and ANOTHER came after that! Hallelujah!

God knows how to really bless a mess, Ha! But I’m grateful He used me to reach the world. I wouldn’t have it any other way. ALL Glory and Honor belongs to the Lord my God! If God wanted me to make the decision to say “Yes!” to His will again, I’d do it in a heartbeat this time! Hallelujah! I pray this message encourages you today. Amen!
